Abia State University, ABSU Second Admission List for 2019/2020 Academic Session is Out

This is to inform the public especially candidates who purchased either the Abia State University (ABSU) Post UTME Form or the supplementary post utme form for 2019/2020 session that the ABSU Supplementary Admission List is out.

How to Check ABSU Second Batch Admission List

As at the time of updating this page, the ABSU 2nd Admission list could only be accessed via the school notice board, JAMB Admission Portal and JAMB CAPS Portal.
The pdf below contains some names of candidates who were admitted via the second batch admission list.
If you have issues checking your name in the document box above please click the download button below to download the list in PDF.
Note: If you didn’t see your name on the list it doesn’t mean that you weren’t admitted, it probably that we could not get the list containing your name.
We advice you either visit the school or wait for the list to be released online. While waiting, once in a while check your name on either the JAMB Portal or the school portal.
Check ABSU Supplementary List of JAMB Portal
  1. Go jamb.org.ng/efacility.
  2. Login to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
  3. Scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.
  4. Then click on Admission Status,
  5. You should then click on check admission status or
  6. Click on Access my CAPS.
  7. Select the three doted line at the top right-corner of your browser ( i.e. ⋮) and then tick ‘Desktop site‘. (you can click on the image for better view)
  8. Then click on admission status
  9. You will either see admission in progress check back later, or NOT ADMITTED, or CONGRATULATIONS.
  10. If you see admission in progress, then congrats because you have 99.9% chances of seeing “CONGRATULATIONS…”
  11. If what you saw is Not Admitted, don’t panic yet, the admission is uploaded in batches. Just check back after some days/weeks.
  12. And if you see CONGRATULATIONS… then jump up and dance because you have been offered admission.
ALSO, we recommended once in a while, you check your admission status on the school portal.

Check ABSU Second Batch Admission List on ABSU Portal

To check the admission list on ABSU portal, follow the procedures below:
  1. Go to the ABSU Portal via portal.abiastateuniversity.edu.ng
  2. Then enter your your Jamb Registration Number in the space provided
  3. Click on the LOGIN to view your admission status
The acceptance fee details is for last academic session. Please note that once this year’s own comes out, we will update this page.

ABSU Acceptance Payment Deadline

If admitted, make sure you print both your JAMB Admission Letter and ABSU offer-of-Admission Letter.
Thereafter, report at the Admissions office of the University at Uturu for the collection of the Acceptance-of-offer slip, to enable you pay the necessary fees and obtain further instructions therefrom.
Deadline to pay ABSU acceptance fee is Friday 10th October, 2018. Any admission offer not accepted on or before Friday 10th October, 2018, should be considered lapsed.
